Completed a relatively gentle 10 mile run on Sunday and working towards the Bideford half marathon next on Sun 6th March. Planning the challenge is taking up LOTS AND LOTS of time but is worth it as donations are starting to come in.
A few interesting fundraising ideas in various stages of planning. Watch this space...
A blog about my preparation for a solo Kayak Circumnavigation of the UK in aid of the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society (NRAS) and to keep you updated during my challenge.

Tough Guy - Done but not forgotten
Completed tough guy last weekend. It was tougher than I thought! It's amazing how your muscles don't work when they are so cold. Highlights (ie. most painful!)? 1. Swimming underwater through tunnels in freezing mud lakes (ie. with lumps of ice in) and repeatedly falling over on the way out due to brain freeze. 2. Crawling underground in pitch black tunnels with people screaming all around you as you bump into electrified cattle prods that make you feel as if you have been kicked by a horse everytime you make contact with them.
I'll try putting up a few photos....
Next stop is the Plymouth 10 mile run on 20th Feb...
